The Sacramento Kings standout De’Aaron Fox has signed with Curry Brand, making him the company’s first signature athlete, it was announced on Wednesday. Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors responded to the action with a tweet that read, “SPLASH!!!!” From the time of our launch in 2020 till this very moment, the mission continues! One more step toward truly changing the game! Welcome to the @swipathefox Curry Brand family! Let’s obtain it!”
Curry and Fox are embarking on an exciting new journey together off the court, which makes for an exciting moment for the two Pacific Division opponents. Despite their past rivalries, Fox and Curry are now teammates off the court and are huge fans of one another.
The popularity of the Curry Brand has increased since its debut since the Warriors player is one of sports’ biggest draws. It would be fascinating to watch if any more athletes decide to follow Fox and sign with Curry Brand as they continue to expand by adding additional talents. The announcement was made deliberately before Golden State’s game against the Kings on Friday. Curry and Fox will play each other again in a rematch of the Western Conference Playoffs first round from the previous year.
Naturally, Curry defeated Fox and the Kings in seven games the previous season, and he’ll be looking to do so again this Friday.
