The Golden State Warriors have a 14-to-1 chance of taking home the championship this year. They have a fantastic opportunity to win, according to Draymond Green. again triumph.
Green talked about it in an interview with Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
I dislike giving things a certain number. But I fail to see why we can’t win two more titles. When not?
Green has redoubled his efforts this season after a disastrous year in which the Warriors were unable to defend their 2022 championship, in part as a result of Green punching former teammate Jordan Poole. But not because he must atone for his sins from the previous year. It concerns a conflict he had with another guard.
“It’s not to redeem anything about Draymond,” Green remarked. “I want to see Chris Paul win his first championship with our help,”
Paul calls himself a “sworn enemy” of the Warriors and has been a longtime foe of the team.
“The Warriors were screaming “F— Chris Paul!” down the corridor toward the Rockets’ locker room as they hurried to their own. After defeating the Rockets in the 2019 playoffs.
Green admitted that he disliked Paul, stating that his hatred of him was “Eleven!” on a scale of 1 to 10. He enraged me. Eleven! But I also believe that’s a respectful gesture.
Not just him but other Warriors also believe they can win. Klay Thompson has created a vision board for himself.
The shooter “has taped up a newspaper clipping of the faces of all 26 players who have won five or more NBA championships inside Thompson’s locker at the Chase Center.”
Green wants six titles instead of the usual five. After all, they went on to win three more championships after Michael Jordan punched Steve Kerr in a practice. Chris Paul should nevertheless keep his hands up in case.
