Draymond Green gets painfully honest on 1 key factor that changed his temperament

The Golden State Warriors’ loud captain, Draymond Green, is known for wearing his feelings on his sleeve, and his presence has been essential to the team’s success over the years. Dray’s passionate outbursts on the court have also caused him plenty of problems, so that is a double-edged sword for him.

For the Warriors, Green’s attitude has been a big problem. As many fans will recall, the forward’s punch on teammate Jordan Poole during a practice session even became a hot topic early in the season. Then, it brought to light his previous outburst toward Kevin Durant while they were still teammates at Golden State.

Indeed, Green has been focusing on that aspect of himself. And the former defensive player of the year claims that having three kids has truly benefited him. When asked what he had discovered about himself through his kids, Green replied that he had learned how to control his temper.

“My personality. my response to situations. How I’m annoyed by stuff. How to deal with being upset by something. How to proceed since what you usually do is say, “Yo, do this, this way, this, this that way,” when you see something with them. Green told Marc J. Spears of Andscape, “And what you’re really teaching kids is how to get through difficulties.

“We must all endeavor to improve ourselves and resolve problems. Thus, the lesson that my children and my wife have given me about dealing with problems has been really important to me. It’s been fantastic.

Of course, Draymond Green is still developing, just like everyone else. However, it appears that he is making significant progress in that direction.

In 2023–24, Warriors supporters should get to watch a more patient Draymond.
