Stephen Curry’s injury update will make Warriors fans Happy

Thankfully, some of the biggest talents of the season are expected to play in one of the biggest games to yet. After missing his team’s previous three games due to a right ankle injury, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry looks poised to play in Saturday’s crucial game against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors have not yet submitted their preliminary injury report for their match at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday. Curry informed reporters on Friday that he is on track to play, despite the fact that he must still pass additional testing by the team trainers before being allowed to play.

“That’s the plan,” he said, according to NBA insider Mark Medina.

During Golden State’s heartbreaking home loss to the Chicago Bulls on March 7, Stephen Curry twisted his ankle while driving to the hoop. He limped off to the locker room and missed the final three minutes of the Bulls’ thrilling victory. He was also absent from the Dubs’ next three games, which included a split home-and-home with the San Antonio Spurs and a defeat to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, which Draymond Green also missed because of a sore lower back.

Following the unexpected loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Steve Kerr voiced hope that the Warriors would bounce back, with Curry’s possible move to Los Angeles fueling that optimism.

“I still like who our team is. We’re hoping to get Steph back for Saturday,” he said. “I like the team a lot better now than I did a couple months ago where we were really sorting through a lot of things. I think we have an identity, I think we know who we are. I think we’ll bounce back here, and I’m excited about the last part of the season.”
