Golden State Warriors gets massive Stephen Curry update amid injury

Stephen Curry won’t be able to return to action until the Golden State Warriors reevaluate his right ankle injury, which is at least Tuesday. However, it doesn’t seem like his absence will last very long.

After all, the most recent reports indicate that Curry is making a good recovery and will soon be able to resume his activities.

Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry Spotted

Curry, who injured his right ankle last Thursday against the Chicago Bulls, was recently seen leaving the Warriors’ practice without a walking boot, according to a report by NBA insider Monte Poole. It’s encouraging to hear that Curry’s injury may not be as catastrophic as it seems.

Curry did, in addition, have crutches to help him walk, but he was not using them.

“Best news the Warriors got today: Stephen Curry, per a very reliable source, walked into the facility in the noon hour wearing shoes – no boot to protect his right ankle. Did have crutches but was not using them,” Poole reported on X.

Without Curry, the Warriors fell short against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, demonstrating how urgently they need the superstar guard back. Thankfully, the likelihood of the GOAT shooter making a comeback is high.

STEPHEN CURRY INJURY UPDATE

The Golden State Warriors announced earlier on Saturday that Stephen Curry’s most recent MRI was negative. To give the star guard time to heal, they did not include him in their back-to-back games against the San Antonio Spurs.

Curry’s future status will be decided on Tuesday, when he undergoes another evaluation, as previously said. Fortunately for Dubs supporters, the brief re-evaluation delay and unproblematic MRI point to a non-serious issue.

“Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who exited Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls with 3:51 remaining in the fourth quarter due to a right ankle injury, underwent an MRI yesterday. The MRI indicated no structural damage to the joint and confirmed the injury as a sprained ankle. Curry will not play in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs and will be re-evaluated again on Tuesday,” the team said in their medical updateon Curry.

Everything seems to be pointing to Curry’s speedy comeback. I hope he doesn’t have any setbacks, especially since the Dubs want to make it to the Western Conference playoffs.
