Klay Thompson gives incredible quote about Jonathan Kuminga

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers played on Thursday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Steph Curry led the way for the Warriors with 26 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and one block as they won 120–114.

In his twenty-three minutes of action, Jonathan Kuminga recorded a solid game with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and a shooting percentage of 6/8 from the field and 3/5 from beyond the arc.

When questioned about Kuminga following the game, Klay Thompson gave a positive response (h/t Warriors on NBCS).

Thompson: “The sky’s the limit for his career. He can do things you can’t teach. Especially his ability to elevate above the rim. His jumper looked great tonight; it was smooth and a great backspin. He took great shots and he played very good defense on some of the best players in the world. It’s just a joy to see him grow. Sometimes we forget he’s only 21 years old, and he’s got so much basketball ahead of him.”

In 34 minutes, Thompson ended with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and an 8/18 shooting and 2/7 three-point shooting percentage.

The Warriors, who hold the tenth seed in the Western Conference, moved to 9-10 after 19 games with the win.

Their next game is scheduled for Saturday in Los Angeles, where they will play the Clippers.
