Stephen Curry unexpectedly added to Warriors injury list

The key player for the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry, has been added to the injury report for Sunday night’s game against the Houston Rockets. Curry had a strong 41-point effort against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. It is surprising that the Warriors had Curry listed as questionable due to left foot pain, considering how great he played in the victory on Saturday.

This was obviously something Curry felt after the game since, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, he was icing his foot following the victory against Sacramento. A doubtful status does not guarantee that Curry will miss this game, but it does indicate that things are unclear as of right now.

Due to an ankle sprain, Draymond Green is yet to make his debut for the Warriors, adding to their early season injury problems. Since it is anticipated that Green will return on Sunday, it would be much more upsetting if the Warriors lost to Curry in the same game that Green returned. Nevertheless, Curry doesn’t appear to have the kind of injury that will prevent him from playing for an extended period of time, even if he is forced to miss a game.

Curry’s health is now uncertain, so it’s likely that he will practice on Sunday and go through pregame warm-ups before deciding how to proceed.
