Warriors reveal major Draymond Green injury update

As crucial to the Warriors as Draymond Green is, very few players can be compared. Green goes above and beyond to make Steph Curry and the Warriors’ other players’ life easier, and once he gets hurt, it shows. Fortunately, it appears that he might be coming back shortly.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated that Draymond Green has been elevated to questionable for opening night during an interview with 95.7 The Game.

“I think opening night is questionable,” Kerr said. “He’s not going to play this week. But he is doing really well. He’s moving much better; he went on the trip with us over the weekend and got in some individual workouts.”

Steve Kerr is less concerned with the precise return date for Green despite the fact that his status has been upgraded to doubtful. The fact that Green returns when he’s prepared is what matters most to Kerr.

“I’m not overly concerned about whether he plays opening night or the second week of the season, whenever it comes,” Kerr said. “It’s a long year. We just want Draymond healthy because obviously, we need him. When he’s out there, we become one of the best defenses in the league.”

Draymond Green won’t be participating in any basketball games for the remainder of the preseason and this week. The most important thing is that he gets as much rest as possible, although it’s great to hear that he’s dubious.
