Stephen Curry’s status for Warriors vs. Lakers revealed

Although Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is not currently injured, the status of elite players for preseason games is never certain. This is particularly true for seasoned players like Curry, but according to the most recent information from Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the star point guard is anticipated to play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

Of course, the preseason is basically meaningless, but a Warriors vs. Lakers clash always carries a certain amount of excitement. The Warriors made some roster adjustments this summer in an effort to build a club that is more conducive to winning championships after falling to the Lakers in last season’s Western Conference Semifinals.

The Warriors hope that by replacing Jordan Poole with Chris Paul, their team will be more stable this year. One of the main reasons the Warriors want their key players to be available for as many preseason games as possible is the arrival of Paul, but there will undoubtedly be an adjustment period before everyone feels comfortable playing together.

Curry can play well with anyone thanks to his off-the-ball prowess, which makes the Warriors enthusiastic about his chemistry with Paul. Nevertheless, this is still a work in progress, and every preseason game is an additional chance for this team to gain valuable practice time together.
