Massive Golden State Warriors planned roster workout revealed

The Golden State Warriors will work out Dion Waiters, Tony Snell, Kent Bazemore, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Harry Giles, and Trey Burke at their facility during the next two weeks, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The organization will consider these free agents as potential contenders for the two roster positions that are open.

The Warriors will be adding some recognizable faces this time around, following a similar strategy to how they filled their last roster places in prior years. Both Juan Toscano-Anderson and Kent Bazemore have interacted with the Warriors and get along well with many of the team’s key players.

The Warriors, a seasoned club with championship aspirations, would rather add experience to their squad than younger players. The roster building from the previous two seasons is somewhat at odds with this, but the team has made a strong shift away from its youth movement and will probably keep moving in this manner.

The Warriors are aware of their chance to still contend for titles while Steph Curry is still at the top of his game. They simply did not have a strong enough roster last year, and they hope to avoid making the same mistakes this time around.

The Warriors may be seeking to recruit a few more experienced role players before the season starts. Over the years, these players have made a significant effect on their championship teams.
