Stephen Curry opens up about playing for Team USA in 2024

Steph Curry, one of the most decorated players in NBA history, has addressed the possibility of representing Team USA in the upcoming summer games. Curry was asked about the possibility of playing for his current Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr on Team USA when he appeared on ESPN and spoke with Malika Andrews.

“That’s the one piece of the resume [Steve Kerr] always likes to joke that I don’t have,” Curry said. “So he’s already kinda recruiting for next summer. But I’m rooting the guys on in the World Championships this year, in the World Cup, I know they’re gonna represent the USA well and take home gold. I have no idea what next summer looks like, it obviously is an extra bonus that coach Kerr is leading that charge, and I’d love to play for him any day of the week, so we’ll see how it goes come summer 2024.”

As the legendary point guard noted, watching Curry compete in the Olympics would be really special because it’s the one accomplishment left off of his legendary resume. Curry might be persuaded to join the team next summer to add a gold medal to his resume with Steve Kerr in charge.

Curry, who is already among the all-time greats in NBA history, may add to his collection of trophies by representing Team USA in 2024.
