Jordan Poole gets honest about his Relationship with Stephen Curry

Jordan Poole was surprisingly sold from the Golden State Warriors, but he still has affection for several of his former teammates, including Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

During an interview with the media during the NBA Summer League, Poole discussed his post-trade relationships with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

“Well, those are the two greatest shooters of all time, in my opinion personally,” Poole said. “It’s just things that you learn in practice, in the game, on the road, that you wouldn’t be able to learn not being in the mix, and I’m thankful for that. You learn, you apply to your skillset, the things you want to be good at, and also built a relationship to where I can ask them. I can text Steph, I can text Klay, I can call them, and just have a conversation. That doesn’t leave, that doesn’t go anywhere. If anything, I just know the plays that they run. Split actions, high ball screens, competitive advantage.”

Jordan Poole’s trade represents a truly bad scenario for the Warriors and something of a failure for the company. Jordan Poole is highly regarded by several players in the NBA, including Paul George and DeMar DeRozan, however the team lost up on him after just four years. After failing to stop Draymond Green from punching Jordan Poole in the face, the team traded its young potential as a result.

Now, everything is set against the Golden State Warriors hiring Chris Paul. Nobody can truly foresee it just now, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.
