Surprising NBA team follows Warriors’ Draymond Green on Twitter

When the Golden State Warriors fell to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs second round last month, Draymond Green and the team’s season came to an end.

Despite having won four championships in the previous nine seasons, the 2022 NBA Champions never quite seemed like a serious 2023 candidate.

Green, a former Michigan State player who was selected 35th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, has spent his whole career with the Warriors and could become an unrestricted free agency this summer.

He has a $27.6 million player option on his contract for the 2023–2024 season.

Green will be among the most prominent free agents available if he chooses not to exercise the player option.

As a result, until a deal is done, there will probably be a lot of speculations and speculation.

The Houston Rockets have followed Green on Twitter, according to the @theNBAalert account, which monitors NBA players’ social media activities.

The tweet has received over 2,500 likes and received 650,000 impressions in less than seven hours.

On Twitter, the Rockets follow 1,488 users, although readers speculated in the comments as to why the team would have followed Green.

Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 52.7% from the field in 73 games to conclude the regular season.

He is entering his 12th season in the NBA at the age of 33.
