Stephen Curry announces launch of new Alcohol brand

Guard Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is investigating a new business.

According to a report from FoodAndWine.com, Curry, a four-time NBA champion, said this month that Gentleman’s Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey will be available soon.

According to the website, Curry was “intimately involved” in the production of Gentleman’s Cut and gained knowledge of every step, from manufacture to marketing.

Here is what Curry said about the whiskey in a news release. via Food and Wine:

“I’m proud to have helped carefully craft a new signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Gentleman’s Cut. This rich, complex, and bold bourbon is the perfect offering to commemorate life’s great occasions and will be a part of a raised-glass toasting moment in the lives of my fans, friends and family.”

According to Food and Wine, the Game Changer Distillery in Boone County, Kentucky, is responsible for the distillation, maturing, and bottling of this brand. It is created in collaboration with John Schwartz, proprietor of the Amuse Bouche Winery in California’s Napa Valley.

Curry’s net worth, estimated by Forbes at $100.4 million, is a new one for him. With Under Armour, he has a significant sponsorship agreement and just agreed to an extension that will last beyond his retirement.
