Giannis Antetokounmpo’s shocking response to question about joining Warriors

The Milwaukee Bucks’ season came to an unsatisfactory conclusion. Despite possessing perhaps the finest player in the world in Giannis Antetokounmpo and finishing the regular season with the best record in basketball at 58-24, the Bucks were defeated by Jimmy Butler and the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in the opening round of the playoffs in five games. Antetokounmpo’s unfortunate injury luck undoubtedly contributed to the Bucks losing the series, since he only participated in three of the five games.

As reported in a message from the official ClutchPoints Twitter account, in the present and Milwaukee’s offseason, Antetokounmpo responded shockingly to a fan’s query requesting him to take his skills to the Bay and join the Golden State Warriors team:

“Someone said, ‘Please come to the Warriors.’… Hey dude.

The 28-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo has spent his entire ten-year NBA career with the Bucks organization. In 63 games (all starts) this season, he averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks, 3.9 turnovers, and 3.1 personal fouls.

Even by his standards, the Greek native failed to make shots from beyond the arc in 2022–23; Giannis Antetokounmpo’s percentage of 27.5% was his lowest since the 2018–19 season.

Bucks supporters shouldn’t worry about Antetokounmpo departing for the Warriors just yet, despite his response to the Warriors’ query. Being one of the most devoted superstar athletes of his generation, Antetokounmpo has made it very known that he loves playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and city of Milwaukee.
