Draymond Green gives Massive update on Future with Warriors

What will happen to the nucleus of this team was the biggest concern around the Golden State Warriors as soon as the season was over. During the regular season, there were speculations that Draymond Green might leave the team, but it appears like he is quashing those now.

Green said he wants to run it again with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in an episode of The Draymond Green Show.

“I was talking to Klay as we were sitting at the table last night,” Green said. “Ty, Klay, Steph, and myself, just like how important and big of a summer this is. Like, how locked in we need to be. No, I don’t think this is it. I’ll say it right here for you, this isn’t it. We plan on doing this again. That’s the plan, obviously, this is a business and things has to take place.”

Throughout the NBA Playoffs, Klay Thompson often lacked his signature style, particularly in Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite this, Klay is more determined than ever to rebound well alongside Steph and Draymond the following season.

“But we plan on doing this again, and the first thing [Klay] said was, ‘Hell yeah, I still want to be an All-Star again, I still want to win multiple championships again.’…To still have those conversations 11 years later, that’s why we win. That’s why we’ll win again.”

Although it’s encouraging to hear that the Warriors’ big three want to return the favor, winning basketball games is what really counts. If the squad continues in the same vein as this season, next season will undoubtedly reveal a lot about them.
