Golden State Warriors vs New Orleans Pelicans injury report

Tonight is the third meeting between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans in their regular season series. A victory tonight would guarantee the Warriors will win the season series, as they have won the last two meetings.

With just two players included, the Warriors’ injury report is comparatively clean:

Both De’Anthony Melton and Steph Curry.

De’Anthony Melton has been sidelined for the past few weeks due to an ACL injury, but it was recently announced that he will be sidelined for the season as he undergoes knee surgery to repair his ACL. Steph Curry is now listed as probable due to bursitis in his left knee.

Nine players—Jose Alvarado, Jordan Hawkins, Brandon Ingram, Herbert Jones, Karlo Matkovic, Cj McCollum, Yves Missi, Dejounte Murray, and Zion Williamson—are featured on the Pelicans’ extensive injury report.

In addition to Jose Alvarado’s left hamstring strain, Jordan Hawkins’ lower back strain, Brandon Ingram’s left ankle sprain, Herbert Jones’ right shoulder strain, Karlo Matkovic’s G League assignment, Cj McCollum’s right adductor strain, Yves Missi’s left shoulder soreness, Dejounte Murray’s left-hand fracture, and Zion Williamson’s left hamstring strain, these players are also sidelined.

The Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans will face off at 7:30 p.m. EST tonight.
